The 12-Day Comprehensive Safari Experience takes you to explore Uganda’s popular; Murchison
Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the wild wonders of Mburo National Park. In this
adventure expect to encounter diverse wildlife (The big five), gorilla and
chimpanzee tracking, thrilling activities like a 3hrs boat cruise on the Nile
down to the foot of one of the world’s strongest falls, i.e. (Murchison Falls),
and with expert guiding, immerse yourself in Uganda’s stunning landscapes and
treasure-filled adventure.

The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival for 12-day Comprehensive Safari Experience
Upon your arrival at
Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who
will transfer you to your accommodation in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
Take a few hours of rest and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Rhino tracking in
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, depart
from Kampala and drive to the North towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is the
only place in Uganda where you can encounter wild rhinos. Have lunch and embark
on a guided rhino tracking experience and get up close to these magnificent
creatures in their natural habitat. Learn about conservation efforts and the
importance of protecting these endangered species. After the tracking, continue
to Murchison Falls National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park Game Drive
Begin your day with an
early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s
largest and most diverse parks. Explore the savannah grasslands, searching for
lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, and various antelope species.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the
afternoon, embark on a 3-hour boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the
majestic Murchison Falls, where you can witness the powerful rush of water as
the Nile water forces its way through a 6-meter narrow gorge. After the boat cruise,
go for an evening game drive to look for predators hunting and the nocturnals
rise for their night shift. After you return to the hotel for Dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimps in Kibale
Forest NP
After breakfast, depart
from Murchison Falls National Park and drive to Kibale Forest National Park.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on
a guided nature walk through the forest, where you can encounter various primate
species, including chimpanzees, red-tailed colobus monkeys, and mangabeys.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest as your guide provides fascinating
insights into the park’s biodiversity. Return to the lodge for dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking
This day is dedicated to
an incredible chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. After a briefing
by the park rangers, you venture into the tropical lush forest in search of
these intelligent and playful primates. As you trek, listen to the sounds of
the forest and keep an eye out for other primate species. Once you locate the
chimpanzees, spend a magical hour observing their behaviors and interactions as
you see their closeness to humans. After the trek, return to your lodge and spend
the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen
Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart
from Kibale Forest and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic
journey as you pass through rural communities and stunning landscapes. Upon
arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a
game drive through the park, where you can spot lions, grazing elephants,
buffalos, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for
dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Wildlife Safari in
Queen Elizabeth
This day is dedicated to
exploring the diverse wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have your
breakfast packed. Head out at 6 am and Start your early morning game drive, as
the park comes alive with wildlife. Your expert guide will navigate through the
park’s diverse ecosystems, maximizing your chances of encountering lions,
leopards, hyenas, elephants, and an array of bird species. You can have
your breakfast as well as lunch in a picnic way in the middle of the park as
you track animals. After a picnic lunch, head out to enjoy a 1.5-hour boat cruise
along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and a
wealth of birdlife sometimes lions hunting the prey that come for water. After
the boat cruise, Return to the lodge to relax and have your dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest
Have your breakfast
packed, depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park, and drive to Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to half of the
world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas. Pass by Uganda’s deepest
lava-dammed lake Bunyonyi with its unique sceneries and enjoy the scenic drive
as you pass through picturesque landscapes and local villages. Arrive at your
lodge in Bwindi in the evening, where you will have dinner and spend the night
as you prepare for the highlight of your African Adventure. Gorilla trekking
gives you the most breathtaking feeling and a lifetime memory.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking
Today is the highlight of
your safari – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Have your
breakfast packed and carry it with you to the briefing point. After a briefing
by the park rangers, venture into the dense forest in search of the gorilla
family assigned to you. You will be given time to sit and have your breakfast. The trek can be challenging, but
the reward of coming face-to-face with these gentle giants is truly
unforgettable. Spend a magical hour observing their behaviors and marveling at
their sheer presence. After the trek, return to your lodge and reflect on this
extraordinary experience.
Day 10: Lake Mburo
National Park
After breakfast, depart
from Bwindi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park
in Uganda but renowned for its rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, check into your
lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game ride through the park,
where you can spot zebras, impalas, buffalos, giraffes, and a variety of bird
species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Tour to the source of the World’s Longest River, ''the Nile'' The life of Egypt
Prepare for a packed
breakfast, depart, and drive to Jinja, the adventure city of Africa. The drive
is smooth and approximately 6hrs. Upon arrival, you will visit the source of the longest river in the world. A point where it begins its flow to the
Mediterranean Sea. Take a boat ride to the source where you will capture
memories in photo forms. You may also visit the nearby Bujagali Falls, or engage
in thrilling water activities such as white-water rafting or kayaking (optional
and at an additional cost). Have a break and briefly relax for an hour before
heading to a 2-hour drive back to the hotel in Kampala. This will be a 2-hour excursion along the Nile.
Day 12: Visiting Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Victoria shopping mall for Lunch and end of 12-day Comprehensive Safari Experience
This day is specifically for you to relax. However, in the middle of the day, you will have a guided walk through Entebbe Botanical Gardens, and after you will visit Victoria Mall where you will obtain a few souvenirs of your choice. Return to your lodge to relax and prepare for your flight back. You will be dropped off at the Entebbe airport at least 2 hours before your flight time.
